Selected Additions
Home additions are one of the easiest ways to transform how a house functions, and one of the easiest projects to get wrong if the integration isn’t planned early. A good addition should feel like it’s always belonged, inside and out. We plan the tie-ins before construction begins, how the new structure connects to the existing home, how the exterior reads from the street, and how we protect what’s staying while work is underway.
You’ll see a mix of additions that create new living space and additions that were part of larger renovations. If you’re deciding what’s worth investing in, focus on what makes an addition feel seamless: strong layout flow, clean old-to-new transitions, exterior balance, and details that align so the finished home feels cohesive. What we plan early:
- Integration and old-to-new transitions inside and out
- Exterior tie-ins and weather protection sequencing
- Layout flow between existing rooms and the new space
- Design and detail alignment so it feels cohesive
Chestnut Hill Addition
This Chestnut Hill addition was designed to feel original to the stone home, not appended to it. Inside, the vaulted ceiling and large window wall bring in light, while the stone fireplace and black-framed doors keep the space grounded and architectural. Details like the arched stone openings and built-in shelving tie the new room into the home’s existing character so the finished addition reads as one cohesive space.

Lower Bucks Addition
This Lower Bucks addition focused on practical space and durable finishes, with exterior work that fits the property’s style and scale. Inside, the details lean warm and straightforward: brick flooring, simple woodwork, and clean door and trim lines. The finish selections were coordinated as a set so the new space feels intentional, not pieced together, and the transition from old to new stays calm and consistent.
